Good to know before you go
About 4–5 km return and 200 m of ascent. Start at Vico del Bottone / Salita della Mandrella. You can skip the final steep steps. Avoid wet or slippery conditions.

The meaningful drawback
Climbing, uneven surfaces and slippery final steps make rain a poor fit.
