Sheltered arcades, food shops and a lively old centre. A rewarding place to wander in ordinary showers.

Allow 2–4 km of easy walking. Arcades offer useful shelter, but each shop and restaurant has its own dog policy.
The strongest showery-day town with your dog: covered arcades, browsing and food shops.
The meaningful drawback
Less dramatic coastal scenery than the headlands or Cinque Terre.
